Privacy notice

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This is a translation of the Spanish original. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

This Privacy Notice explains what data the MirrorApps mobile apps (AmiiboDB and NuzlockeVault) collect, what it is used for and what rights you have over it.

Data controller

MirrorApps. Contact: support@mirrorapps.es.

Data we collect

Our apps do not ask for any personal data for normal use. Your amiibo collection or your runs are stored on your own device and are not sent to our servers.

They do need an internet connection to download content: AmiiboDB gets the list of announced amiibo from mirrorapps.es, and the figure images and game compatibility data from GitHub. As with any web request, those servers receive your IP address and may record it in their technical logs. We do not link it to any profile or use it to identify you.

However, the apps use third-party services that collect data automatically:

Additional data in NuzlockeVault

NuzlockeVault includes optional online features. This data is collected only if you choose to use them:

If you do not use these features, no account is created and none of your data leaves the device.

Purpose and legal basis

The data is used to show advertising that allows us to offer the apps for free, to maintain and improve how they work, to fix bugs and to provide the online features you request. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, personalised advertising is based on your consent, which is requested the first time you open the app. You can change or withdraw it at any time in Settings › Privacy options. All other processing is based on our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the apps, and on providing the service you request when you use the online features.

Who we share it with

The data listed above is shared with Google, as the provider of the advertising, analytics, notification, authentication, storage and billing services mentioned. You can read how Google handles it in the Google Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for commercial purposes. It would only be provided to the competent authorities where there is a legal obligation to do so.

Retention and deletion

Data stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data from Android settings. Data from NuzlockeVault's online features is kept for as long as your account remains active.

You can request the deletion of your account and its associated data by following the instructions on the Delete account and data page.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to support@mirrorapps.es. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID from your Android device settings, and turn off notifications from the system settings. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

United States residents

If you live in a state with its own privacy legislation, you may have the right to know what data is collected, to request its deletion and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for advertising purposes. We do not sell personal data for monetary consideration. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at support@mirrorapps.es. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID from your Android device settings.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under that age. The content is suitable for all ages and advertising is configured not to show sensitive content. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe a child has provided us with data, write to us at support@mirrorapps.es and we will delete it.

Security

All data sent by the apps is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. We take reasonable measures to protect it, although no system can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in the apps or in the law. We will always publish the current version on this page, showing the date of the last update.
